Lets Get Together and Feel Alright (Virtually of Course)!
Recently, we were invited to a special event put on by Scott W. Johnston, Merchant & Gould P.C. - Minneapolis Trademark Attorneys, bringing further awareness to racial injustice in our country. It was called "End Racial Injustice," a free in-home Reggae Concert featuring, Innocent, Lynval Jackson, Singing Tony, Prince Jabba, Carolyne Naomi and Lance Pollonais. This live musical performance was dedicated to ending racial injustice in America, put on by Club Calabash.
We sat back poured a beverage, plugged in the big speakers and enjoyed live music for the first time since this pandemic thing started. As there Facebook page says "One good thing about music, when it hits, you feel no pain" and that was the case for 2 hours on a Tuesday afternoon in November of 2020. It suddenly felt like Friday and we were in a different mood, music really can soothe the soul! We were then told they do this every Friday starting at 7:30CST! What the what? We can do this every Friday? Mind officially blown!
In addition, Scott shared a resource of local black owned businesses in Minneapolis and other racial justice resources that we can all get behind and support! We hope you'll consider supporting them. Click here for area black owned businesses and racial injustice resources.
Enjoy the show link above and we hope to see you on Friday's at the Club Calabash Concerts!
