Looking for some tasty rib filling, heart warming food you’ve likely never tried or knew you loved?  Look no further than Chimborazo at the corner of 29th Street & Central Avenue. Every hearty Minnesotan needs to try this NE Minneapolis gem serving Ecuadorian/Andean Highlands food!  

We were told about this place years ago but never made a point to go. That all changed when our client Nikki C. wanted to meet us at her favorite restaurant for a bite to eat while we discussed her purchase agreement. Needless to say, we have since become frequent flyers.

We are by no means experts in Ecuadorian food, but each dish seems to be centered around a protein; chicken, chorizo, beef, egg or seafood, often stewed or marinated in a tasty sauce with peppers, onions or garlic paired with rice, beans or mote (Hominy). Sweet fried plantain is also a staple on the plate. Pair your meal with a nice Argentinian or Chilean wine and you feel like you’re on vacation. We’ve tried a few dishes, but can’t help repeating our order and have never been disappointed.
